About Us
Team Taylor is comprised of Freddie, Krystal, Jayel and Freddie III. We are dedicated to each other and sharing some of our successful ideas about family, parenting, and education. Hopefully, you take a moment to review our ideas on these areas and are able to strengthen your family unit and your children’s future.
For years, people have been asking us to put our thoughts on family, parenting, and educating our children together and make them available to the world. We are finally ready to make this a reality and Team Taylor Playbook is our effort.
Why follow the Team Taylor Playbook?
This is a valid question many people have when coming to this website. We believe we have some great ideas about family, parenting, and education of our children, but we have a track record of success to lean on as well.
Freddie and Krystal Taylor, the parents, both have masters degrees in business administration. Graduating in late 2000 and mid 2001 from the same school, they value education and have impressed this on their children.
Both children have skipped a grade due to the teaching and dedication to education instilled in them by Team Taylor. They continue to excel in all areas of education and are not showing any signs of slowing up.
Freddie III is currently 8 years old and in the 4th grade. He is one of the top performers in the fourth grade. The goal for this school year is to advance him to 5th grade math by the middle of the school system to set him up for success in the future. His standardized test scores are off the charts and qualified him for the after school IMSA, Illinois Math and Science Academy, program.
Jayel just turned 12 years old in September and is in the 8th grade. He recently tested out of of Algebra I at the high school. Jayel was able to do this because he took Algebra I online through the University of Stanford last year. The district paid for this program in order to keep him challenged. It worked.
As a result of placing out of Algebra I, Jayel is taking Advanced Geometry this year as an 8th grader. According to teacher reports and his current grades, he is dominating geometry as well. The question Team Taylor has at this moment is should we push for him to finish geometry by the middle part of the year as well?
Both boys have a strong love of education, which is where we believe we won the battle of education in their lives. If you can instill in someone a deep appreciation and hunger for knowledge, then all you have to do is provide opportunities for learning and growth, then get out of their way.
Follow us, Team Taylor, over the next few years and we will do our best to share with you all we do in our household to create the outstanding academic, socially responsible, and respectable children. Hopefully, a few of the ideas will work for you in your efforts.
If you have any questions or would like to interact with us, please feel free to contact us. We started this effort to connect with families all around the world, so please take advantage of this opportunity. If you have any question, submit them and we will do our best to respond personally or in a blog post to allow everyone to benefit from the teaching moment.
Here is the our children and our families!
